Alright so, this show is getting more and more to a place I really just don’t give a fuck about. That whole little setting of demon and angel in this world was quite funny for the first 3 episodes, but it is already getting old. Maou really don’t act like a demonic overlord, instead he looks more like a pathetic part-time manager at a McDonald, and that’s not very exciting in no way what so ever. I mean I understand that some people love their little school life comedy where nothing ever happens and where the biggest of trouble is a love triangle, but I just can’t watch those shows as I find them extremely boring.
Hataraku Maou-sama! was supposed to be a comedy or a fantasy show, but it is turning into something more akin to a genre I like to call “shitty romance”. If this show turns any more into a harem than it already is I might just quit it before it even get a chance to end. It happens very rarely that I don’t actually finish a show which I started, but if things keeps up this way Hataraku Maou-sama! might very well get this treatment. The show just gave such great hope and it turned out to be all false advertising. No great epic battle except for a single episode, no constant funny comedy…instead all I got this episode is this lousy romance story.
At the very least this episode managed to illuminate Emilia’s perception of the word. She now finally realize that just about everyone she ever came into contact with was actually someone who came directly from Ente Isla. I mean she saw that girl 2 episodes ago and it took her that long to figure it out. It still seems extremely fishy that she would try to feed the demon instead of killing them, but I feel like she was obvious enough that there is no reason for the goddamn hero to be so blind about it all.
Anyway, I’m starting to be quite bored of this show, here’s hoping that next week will be a bit more exciting, but I won’t hold any hope for that to happen either. Unless it wasn’t obvious enough, I’m not giving too much thought to this post, sorry for the bad quality of it. If this is your first time tuning in, well you really got a bad experience…my bad, then again you should have checked a better episode to read from.
