How interesting, suddenly everyone has problem, it is like one huge circle of problem for everyone involved here. Shinichi is chased by the parasite organization, the private detective is both being chased by the organization while himself chasing after Tamura Reiko and Tamura is being targeted by the parasite organization too. I see some trend here, it seems the parasite organization is pretty much involves every time “trouble” is mentioned. You really don’t need much expertise in gangsterism to understand that their group is generating too much heat. Tamura Reiko was right to tell them they are approaching this wrong, I bet there is no more than a few episode before we see their whole organization wiped out.
I want to spend a bit more time talking about Tamura Reiko. As time goes on, she is slowly becoming a character ever more on the front scene of the story. I wouldn’t be surprised if her point of view became ever more important from now on. We will probably start seeing her as another main character pretty soon, I have a feeling she and Shinichi will come to term on certain aspect and will agree to coexist. I feel the both of them are currently slowly meeting at some kind of middle. Both are becoming somewhat of a mix between a human and a parasite. I think that if they put their difference aside the two of them could come to learn to work together, they both have very similar personality after all, for being of different species. This might just be wishful thinking, but I don’t want Tamura Reiko to die, I want her to somehow survive her current situation and bonus point if she is so wounded she has to merge with Shinichi.
Just think about it, Shinichi having two parasite of his own plus his body being one of a super hero, he would be able to face Miki at that point. Speaking of the guy, Miki sure is a good change of pace from the previous opponent Shinichi had to face. So far every opponent was very aggressive and then it was defeated quickly, this time around he finally found a monster he was unable to win against. It is only because of his experience and knowledge of the human world that he was able to come out of that encounter alive, he should have died there…at least twice. Seeing as we are getting really into the thick of this universe, it makes me happy to see more complex life forms and more powerful opponent which won’t just let Shinichi kill them in half a minute. It had been a while since Shinichi actually had to suffer from cuts of any kind, his physical suffering pleases me, since it means things could go bad at any point now.
From here, I feel like something that was not elaborated deeply enough on was how much the private investigator revealed to the special detective. Depending on the kind of information he wrote on that note book, if it were to be more than just information about Tamura Reiko, it could lead to a lot of trouble for Shinichi. I can never get enough of this show.
