Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu taking revenge

Here comes the end for Shinichi’s mother. The poor lady lost her life so quickly and cruelly, now Shinichi was able to put an end to her suffering, he was able to avenge the desecration of her body. Love sometimes manifest itself in ironic ways. By cutting the head of his mother, Shinichi was showing the utmost respect and love for the one women who was so far always in his life. She is the one who brought him to this world, now he was able to properly let her leave his side. It wasn’t technically Shinichi who finished her off, but to be honest, he did most of the work anyway.

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu mommy

Now that his mother really is dead, I wonder what Shinichi’s father will think of the situation. His wife will never return. He was told to believe he only had a scary dream, yet at some point, he won’t be able to reject the truth anymore. Will Shinichi help him? Will Shinichi proves him the truth? Or will the old man simply forget about everything and forgot he once had a wife to begin with? I feel there is still a lot left hanging with the dad, but I’m not certain they are topics we will approach in the near future of Kiseijuu.

Now, back to the one person who technically defeated Shinichi’s mother, Uda Mamoru, a.k.a fatman. I must admit, I had a bit of trouble with that character, especially its parasite. It is already a bit visually ridiculous to have someone lose control of his mouth and chin, it is just made worse when it starts talking like an uneducated street kid. I understand that their method of learning the language was greatly different and influenced their tone and oral aptitude, it makes sense. This all respect the setting of the world this anime is set in, but it remains a rather ridiculous character who seem more like a comic relief than anything else. It surprised me he was not immediately killed off, I am surprised that this character could possibly be reoccurring. I wish he died… I hope he isn’t involve frequently in the future, hope Shinichi and Uda never cross path again. He was a nice unexpected meeting, but I’ve had enough already.

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu a little absurd

I’m most please to see everyone going back to their original town. I feel there is much more interesting stories there than anywhere else for now, the love interest are present and even more danger. Vengeance is one thing, but vengeance is easy. It is much easier to Avenge the death of someone, than it is to prevent their deaths. Now Shinichi might have to fight to protect who he cares about. Those will be fight of emotions, test of trusts and show of strength. On that last note though, Shinichi is really pulling through with his new powers, I thought it was already impressive enough the way he ran and jumped, for him to keep up with another parasite is a whole new level of power though. Now, with the power of the 30% of Migi flowing through him, Shinichi has become an autonomous killing machine. This time around Migi transformed his hand into a blade, but in the future, Shinichi could easily just have a regular weapon and he’d be able to keep up. Shinichi and Migi are now two beings inhabiting the same body. Each of them able to defeat a parasite, each of them able to operate on their own, each of them thinking, each of them living. This is power, two thinkers, two brawlers, a real super hero we have here. At this point, I feel Migi needs Shinichi to live, much more than Shinichi needs Migi anymore. I wonder if their relationship will change because of this new balance of power…
