Hey, look at that, they finally actually made it to Helfheim. Since the very first episode that we just keep hearing the name of that place with no idea of where it could possibly be and we somehow finally made it. Now, despite having video evidence of the path taken to reach Helfheim, I don’t believe I would ever be able to guide you there. At best I can understand how to get you all the way to those hills they were standing on at the beginning of the episode, but how to have those hills start floating into the sky and have the entire world around you change to a snowy cold wasteland? No clue how to make that happen. I don’t think I fully understood what happened there.
All that matters now that they got to Helfheim is how much Amira got screwed over in her life. She was manipulated into growing faster as a clone of an angel, then she met with Favaro, a man who spew lies by the minute. The girl was merely a few years old and yet she was lied to so often because of her great naïvety. Now she managed to obtain the very first thing, her very first dream has been reached, and it turned out to be but an illusion. All this poor girl ever wanted was a mother, someone she could trust. It was really the work of devil that she lived such an awful life until she was sacrificed as a key to the end of the world.
She wasn’t the only person to be sacrificed and turned to tears this episode. Jeanne d’Arc, as expected, was burned to the stake this episode. I really can’t say this was a surprising turn of event, her name was enough to guess her future, but now she has turned into a demon with a grudge against the angels and Gods. I have a feeling, because of the cheesiness of the story, that she will find redemption at the end, but she will probably act as a “boss” in preventing the awakening of Bahamut.
If Amira and Jeanne were not enough, now even Favaro has turned into a demon. He had a sweet french kiss with a demon and has now turned into a demon himself. I have a feeling this might not be enough to turn him away from his morals and he will probably still use the power of Bahamut to prevent the end of the world, but it was still rather hilarious to see him eat that tongue deep into his mouth. If I were to be taken advantage off and turned into a demon, I would rather drink that potion myself than have it shove down my throat by an ugly demon. Speaking of demon, I can’t believe Azazel is still alive, he should have died twice already! It is rather difficult to still take him seriously, it seems no one can actually die in this show, it is unfortunate.
