Spring is over and we are well into our summer days, but none the less here is a quick overview of the Spring 2014 season and some of the best shows you might have missed.
Aku no Hana was an experimental anime used to demonstrate the Rotoscope technology which was used in the anime for the animation. The show is really a hot topic as some would call it the most hated of Spring 2013, but is the hate justified? We will review the show for each of its individual strength and weaknesses and see where it did well and what went wrong.
Suisei no Gargantia is finally over and I just cannot thank anyone that there wasn’t a second season or more episodes. The show took his time but managed to be a big pile of crap despite how much money was thrown at it. I digress, read more to learn where and why Suisei no Gargantia should be avoided at all cost.
The first season of Valvrave is over and while we wait for the second season that comes out in fall, we’ll review this one and see how well it did depending on different criteria. Valvrave was one of the best show of the Spring 2013 Anime Season, so it should be an interesting, and really positive, review that shall unfold.
Yes, this is it. The end of the Chihayafuru series (for now). Until the third season is green-lit, we shall all sit here, be sad and pretend we don’t know that a sequel will be made. It has to be made. Meanwhile, let’s entertain and remind ourselves of the good and bad times of this second part of awesome karuta.
Robotics;Notes was a 22 episodes long snore fest that I absolutely regret watching. The show gave me high hopes because of the 2 big hit of the same universe that preceded it: Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate. Unfortunately this one was a complete flop and in this review we’ll look at every elements individually and see why Robotics;Notes completely failed to make a good impression and to make it worth watching.
Psycho-Pass has finished its 22-episode streak of complete awesomeness, and now it is time to take a look back and judge how great the show was as a whole.
