I won’t even bother summarizing this because I think I’ll start raging so much and won’t be able to concentrate properly.
NOTHING. This whole episode had no relation whatsoever with the rest of the season. Poplar becomes taller, Maya Matsumoto shows up again all of a sudden even though they made her disappear for the whole second season, and then Poplar thinks about leaving but in the end she changes her mind. End of season.
WHAT KIND OF ENDING IS THIS?!?!?! WHERE THE FUCK IS THE PLOT IN THIS? WHERE’S THE CLIMATIC ENDING? WHERE’S THE ROMANCE BETWEEN SATO AND YACHIYO OR TAKANASHI AND INAMI?!?!? AND WHILE I’M AT IT, WHY THE FUCK DOES MAYA MATSUMOTO SUDDENLY DECIDE TO APPEAR AND HAVE SOME AIR TIME?!?!?! SHE SOULD’VE SHOWED UP EARLIER!!!!!!!
K. This is bullshit. Overall, this episode wasn’t too bad, I was actually kinda happy about it. The only thing wrong with it: WHY IS THIS THE FINAL EPISODE?!?! I’ve never seen such a terrible ending. Nothing special happened. Nothing changed. Everything is at the exact same standstill it was at the first episode of this first season. I was starting to enjoy this episode when I figured that Poplar was actually about to leave. Then I learned she would stay, and this episode, along with the rest of the season. went completely down the drain.
Finally, although I did enjoy her presence, I wish Matsumoto Maya would’ve had more air time than she actually did. Beforehand, she was never there, did nothing, just kinda showed up in the background once in a while, and now all of a sudden everyone talks to her and she’s part of the gang? I don’t buy it. I liked that girl, but I hated the fact that she stayed in the background this whole while.
In the end, I didn’t expect such a crappy ending out of this show. As crappy as the show was, I didn’t think it was crappy enough to have a crappy ending. It looks like this show enjoys having no development AT ALL, even in final episodes. Let’s all hope that a third season never happens. That’s all I need to say for now, the rest will come out with my overall review
Get ready for a humongous rant.
